About Me

Profile:
I am a 19-year old, second-year university student at SFU in the School of Interactive Arts and Technology (SIAT). I was born in Taipei, Taiwan and moved to Canada when I was 3, so I suck at Mandarin and prefer English.

Anime:
I'm into all sorts of Japanese stuff, the culture, their media, including anime, the cars. I'd like to go there some time maybe even find a job there and settle down, but that's still far away in the future. I like anime because Ive been watching it since I was in diapers. I dont like dubs because they almost always find a way to ruin the originality of the original and prefer subtitles. My favorite animes are Initial D, Kanon, Air, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, Shakugan no Shana, Hayate no Gotoku, just to name the top few out of the 87 animes Ive watched. I generally don't have a preference on the type of animes, I only find out if I like an anime after watching them. If you ask me which my favorite anime is, Initial D is my first though. I love dramatic animes like Air and Kanon, also humorous, easy-going animes like Lucky Star and Azumanga Daioh without any dense, confusing plots.

AP:
I'm here on AP to learn some techniques in Photoshop and Illustrator. I see this site as a place for me to practice some of the stuff I'm studying in university. Hopefully once I get better with Illustrator and Photoshop I can start making vectors and wallpapers. My name on AnimePaper is the name I use for many of my accounts on my Internet and I first used it as a name for my first person shooter, as a metaphor for a sniper. So that’s all there is to my name and I’m just lazy to create a new name for all my accounts out there.

Computers:
Almost anything to do with computers with the exception of programming. I've done programming in Python and Java, made a few small games but I hate doing it. It's a headache. Things I like about computers mainly include anything to do with audio-visuals, such as games and videos. I'm into editing videos and have made a few small movies in the past and a few machinemas.

Games:
I spend most of my gaming on first-person shooters and racing simulators. My most favorite FPS is Delta Force: Black Hawk Down but have played several others including Call of Duty 4 and Mirror's Edge (although ME is not your traditional first-person *shooter*). Racing simulators I play are mainly Richard Burns Rally and Live for Speed, but do occasionally play arcade racing games, but I don't have any recent favorites of those. I love base raping.
